Dream of Wealth upgrades, offline earnings and saves explained
The useful question is not only “which button first?” It is “what will this purchase change?” Here is how damage, income, offline time and saved progress fit together.
Learn raises damage, Train raises firing frequency, and Work raises defeated-target rewards. All first upgrades currently cost 50 coins. Offline income uses a measured completed normal wave, discounted for idle collection and capped at 8 hours. Refresh recovery and account sync are separate kinds of saving.
Your first purchase, in actual numbers
An unupgraded wallet deals 5 damage per shot and fires 2 times per second. Ignoring travel time, misses and overkill, that gives 10 theoretical damage per second. The table compares one purchase from level zero, not a guaranteed clear time.
| One purchase | New primary stat | Theoretical result |
|---|---|---|
| Learn | 5.4 damage per shot | 10.8 damage per second; about +8% |
| Work | 1.08× reward multiplier | More coins on defeat; no direct damage increase |
| Train | 2.2 shots per second | 11.0 damage per second |
Each track has its own escalating cost. Its first purchase costs 50; the next purchase on that same track costs 69. Buying Learn does not raise the level or price of Work. Defeat rewards are rounded, so small rewards need not increase by an identical visible amount at every level.
The first Train purchase has a slightly larger theoretical damage increase, but target health, projectile travel and overkill still affect actual clears. Use the comparison as a starting point, then observe the stage in front of you.
Find the bottleneck before buying again
Costs grow faster than the incremental effect of repeatedly buying the same track. That reduces its marginal value. Moving to a cheaper track can help, although there is no requirement to keep all three levels identical.
- The boss timer expires with substantial health remaining: consider Learn or Train.
- Normal waves clear comfortably but funding the next purchase is slow: consider Work.
- You have affordable upgrades but keep hoarding: compare their next effect and cost rather than focusing only on the balance.
- Train reaches a real cap of 10 shots per second. A maxed button will not keep charging you.
How the 8-hour offline reward works
The current browser implementation records coins earned and time spent in the most recently completed normal wave. It uses 50% of that measured coins-per-second rate for offline collection, multiplied by eligible time away, up to 8 hours. A boss battle does not become that normal-wave record.
For an illustrative calculation, suppose a normal wave earned 120 coins over 20 seconds. That is 6 coins per second in play and 3 per second offline. Ten minutes away would produce 1,800 coins. These figures explain the formula; they are not a fixed payout for every player.
The reward is granted and saved when you return. Its message describes coins already added, so closing it or refreshing does not claim them again. Offline time never clears unseen stages. After prestige, complete a new normal wave to establish the new run’s offline rate.
Refresh, guest progress and account sync
The save includes more than a stage number: purchased upgrades, coins, the wallet’s horizontal position, and current target health and positions also matter. A refresh should resume the current attempt rather than hand out the entire stage reward again.
On a first sign-in, you can choose to import guest progress if the account does not already have a save. If another tab is actively playing, the current tab rests rather than allowing both pages to overwrite each other.
If saving needs attention, resolve the displayed status first. Clearing all site data is not a useful first troubleshooting step. The page provides retry, save selection and explicitly confirmed recovery paths.
| Situation | Where the progress lives | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| A guest refreshes | This browser’s local record | Keep using this browser; clearing site data removes local records. |
| A signed-in player continues | Local record plus account sync | Wait for “Saved to your account” before moving to another device. |
| Two different records exist | The local and account saves may differ | Read the conflict prompt and choose which progress to keep. |
Deciding when to start a new chapter
Clear at least stage 10 in the current run to unlock prestige. Each completed block of 10 stages currently yields one permanent experience point. Each point adds 12% of base damage; the bonus is additive across accumulated points, not another compounding multiplication per point.
Prestige resets run coins, the three upgrade levels, current stage and the run’s offline-rate record. Permanent experience and the best lifetime stage remain. Read the preview to compare another push with starting a stronger new run.
There is no universal perfect timing. If the next stretch is slow and the available experience is useful, a reset may make sense. If the next challenge is close to completion, one more attempt may be worthwhile.
Questions you might have
Why did I get no offline coins?
You may not have completed a normal wave yet, may have just prestiged, or may have been away only briefly. Offline income needs an existing measured normal-wave record.
Does each Work click instantly earn money?
No. It spends game coins to improve future defeat rewards. The improved income arrives when targets are cleared.
Does prestige delete my Walletwait account?
No. It resets this game run’s coins, upgrade levels and stage. It does not delete your account or purchase-discussion records.
