Dream of Wealth: a browser idle game beginner guide
Your little wallet handles the shooting. You decide where the next coins go. Start with the choices you can see, then learn the deeper systems as they become useful.
Dream of Wealth is Walletwait’s browser idle shooter. Start a run, let your wallet clear falling shopping temptations, and spend dream coins on Learn, Work and Train. Progress through stages and timed bosses. The coins exist only inside the game.
Start a run and watch a reward happen
Wait for your saved game to load, then choose “Start growing.” The starting balance is 50 dream coins, enough for one initial upgrade. Aiming, shooting and collecting defeated-target rewards happen automatically; repeatedly tapping the arena is not necessary.
Targets have health. A projectile must hit before it deals damage, and a target must be cleared before it pays a reward. Work improves that reward. Pressing Work does not immediately pay a wage.
Watch one wave before spending everything: are targets being cleared in time, which upgrade can you afford, and how far is the stage from completion? Pause and sound controls sit above the arena.
- Drag the wallet left or right inside the arena to change where shots start. Aiming and firing stay automatic; moving is optional.
- On a keyboard, click the arena to focus it, then use Left/Right or A/D to move. The three buttons below buy upgrades.
- Check the cost and effect before buying. An unaffordable upgrade shows how many coins you still need.
- Dream coins are separate from real earnings and the Walletwait purchase-discussion savings record.
What does each of the three upgrades solve?
Every button spends game coins on an upgrade. Choose according to the current bottleneck instead of treating one button as the permanent answer.
| Upgrade | Changes | A useful signal |
|---|---|---|
| Learn | Damage per projectile | Targets survive with health left, or a boss is hard to damage. |
| Work | Coins per defeated target | The current stage is comfortable and you want to fund future upgrades. |
| Train | Projectiles fired per second | Individual shots are useful, but you need more of them. |
Learn and Train work together to improve damage output. Work improves the ability to pay for future progress. If a boss is stopping you, buying only Work cannot make the current shots stronger. Ignoring rewards forever can make later upgrades slow to fund.
What to do after a big-sale boss stops you
A big-sale boss appears every 5 stages. In this browser version, its timer is 45 seconds. Normal waves contain several targets; a boss focuses the fight on one larger target that must be defeated before time runs out.
After a failed challenge, the game farms the previous normal stage. Earned coins and purchased upgrades stay with you. Improve Learn or Train, then choose “Try the challenge” when you are ready. Repeating the same attempt without changing anything usually does not address the bottleneck.
A normal target crossing the danger line ends that attempt, rather than wiping the run. Also distinguish your current stage from your best stage cleared: reaching a stage is not the same as completing it.
Leaving, returning and starting a new chapter
Once you have completed a normal wave, the game has a measured earning rate for offline rewards. Returning can award up to 8 hours of coins automatically. Offline time does not clear an unseen stage or boss. A brand-new run that has not completed a normal wave has no measured offline income yet.
Clearing stage 10 unlocks a new chapter, the game’s prestige action. It resets run coins, upgrades and stage progress in exchange for permanent experience. Read the confirmation before using it: it explains both the reward and what will be kept.
Guests save in the current browser. Signing in enables an account save. Before changing devices, check that the status actually says “Saved to your account”; signing in alone is not a substitute for a successful sync.
Four useful checks before ending your first session
The Walletwait spending table and public plaza remain separate places to discuss real purchases. The game can be a short break; your real-world buying decisions remain yours.
- Know which stat each upgrade changes.
- Complete a normal wave and see its reward and stage progress update.
- Refresh once and check that your purchased upgrades and current progress return.
- Check the save status; keep using the same browser or finish an account sync before moving elsewhere.
