Pocket Blocks Rules: 6×6 Board, 24 Moves, Hold and Undo

Quick fingers are not the point. Read the shape, find the space it needs and decide what the next move will leave behind.

The short answer

Pocket Blocks is Walletwait’s browser block puzzle. Choose from three shapes and make up to 24 valid placements on a 6×6 board. Complete rows or columns clear. There is no countdown. Hold changes the order of your choices, and each round has one undo.

01

Your first move: fit the entire shape

Open Pocket Blocks and wait for the save status to be ready before starting a round. The board has six rows and six columns, with hands of up to three candidate shapes. A new hand arrives after you use the current one. Select a shape, then a board position. Every cell of the shape must stay inside the board and avoid occupied cells. Shapes cannot rotate; find space for the orientation shown.

Tap-to-select controls work on a phone, so precise dragging is not required. Use the same select-then-place sequence on a computer. Read the placement preview and feedback, then choose “Place here” to commit.

Only a valid placement advances the round’s placement count. There is no countdown, so inspect the other two candidates before spending the most obvious shape.

02

Full lines turn into useful space

A row or column clears when all six of its cells are filled. A small cluster, a shared color or a partly filled line does not clear by itself.

A single placement can complete more than one line. Besides the immediate score, a clear gives you new space for larger shapes. Many isolated empty cells may look generous while still leaving nowhere for any current candidate to fit.

  • Find a nearly complete row or column, then check whether filling it blocks another shape.
  • Receipt colors and artwork help you read the board; full rows and columns determine clears.
  • Treat the empty area as a shape, not just a count of unused cells.
03

Hold and undo answer different problems

Hold is useful when a shape is awkward now but may fit later. It changes the order; it does not enlarge the board. If you hold a large shape, keep some room for it to return. An empty hold takes the selected shape and refills that candidate if there are pieces left to issue; an occupied hold swaps with it. Only 24 shapes are issued in the whole round. You can also place the held shape directly on the board, including near the end of the round.

Undo is best used with a specific correction in mind. If the latest placement cut off the only long lane, work out a better landing position before undoing. Otherwise it is easy to rebuild the same problem. If the board is blocked but the result has not been settled, an unused undo is still available. Once the result is settled, it cannot be undone.

UndoCorrect the latest placementOne per round, rather than unlimited steps backward.
04

A round ends; a save keeps your progress

A round has at most 24 valid placements, and a blocked board can end it earlier. After the result, choose whether to begin again.

Coins and collections belong to the game’s longer-term progress, not real earnings. Away-time accumulation only concerns game resources; it does not place shapes or finish the current round for you. Bank a round with at least one placed piece to unlock the jar. It starts at six coins per hour and counts up to eight hours at a time. Collection upgrades increase that rate without changing board rules.

The main Pocket Blocks page and its playable landing pages share progress. Dream of Wealth has its own save. Check the status before refreshing. Local progress belongs to the current browser, and clearing site data may remove it. Local saving is not automatic cross-device synchronization.

Questions you might have

Do I have to race a clock?

No. There is no countdown or automatic falling. You still need a connection to load the page; complete offline operation is not promised.

Does a filled small area clear?

No. The game checks complete six-cell rows and six-cell columns, not arbitrary smaller areas.

Can I keep using hold without placing anything?

No. After using hold, place a shape successfully before hold becomes available again.

Will this overwrite my Dream of Wealth save?

No. The two games keep separate progress. Saving Pocket Blocks does not replace Dream of Wealth.
