The short answer

Walletwait is a browser-based purchase discussion game where you share an item, price, currency, reasons, alternatives, and images with a group or the public square. Approval is feedback: the app does not order products or take payment.

01

Start with the job the item needs to do

“I want a desk lamp” gives reviewers little to work with. “My hand blocks the light when I make paper models” opens a useful conversation about positioning, desk space, and the lamp you already own.

Add the correct currency and enough product detail to distinguish the model. Describe an alternative as seriously as the proposed purchase, including keeping, repairing, or borrowing something.

From shopping hesitation to a discussion

  3. Make your choiceBuy, compare further, or wait based on your own situation.

02

Choose whose perspective would help

A group brings people who may know your habits. The public square brings unfamiliar perspectives, but readers need context because they cannot know your routine from a product photo.

Read the reasoning behind an approval or rejection. You can add one supplement to clarify missing information, and use flowers to appreciate helpful participation. A thoughtful objection can be useful.

Browse first, participate when ready

Public content is available to browse before signing in. Participation requires Google sign-in or a verified email account. Start by reading a few requests to see what makes a question answerable.

The web app has English and Chinese interfaces. The button on this page opens the English experience, where you can make a request or respond to someone else's purchase question.

Two ways to look at the same purchase

A reason to support it

Regular craft sessions and a suitable adjustment range could justify it.

A reason to reconsider

Test the current lamp in another position before replacing it.
